PartyCasino asked Tomorrow to help them create a campaign to motivate people to install the app and start to use it, and then encourage people to start playing PartyCasino games online. Tomorrow switched from the still images that PartyCasino had used in previous campaigns to more engaging video ads.
As the campaign had dual goals of app installs and conversions, the strategy was to develop 2 different ads to use with the relevant ad objectives. For instance, video ads with the app installs objective showed slot games in action on a mobile phone and a “Download Now” call to action, while ads with the conversion objective showed a different video and call to action.
PartyCasino and Tomorrow created a Custom Audience and a lookalike audience based on the top 25% of PartyCasino’s active app users, so that they could show ads to people who were likely to take action. People who went on to install the app but did not start playing immediately then saw further ads, inviting them to make a deposit.
Because we wanted to reach as many potential customers as possible, ads were shown across Facebook, Instagram and the Audience Network. Tomorrow also used this campaign to test Facebook and Instagram Stories as a placement for ads with the conversion objective, with strong results.
